Former DCE For Ahafo Ano South Reinstated

Reports indicate that the former District Chief Executive(DCE) for Ahafo Ano South in the Ashanti region, Gabriel Boamah has been reinstated.
Gabriel Braimah was dimissed by the Local Government Minister after he angrily chided health workers in his district for a comment made by an unidentified person.
Mr. Boamah after telling the workers off stormed out of durbar which was attended by some chiefs in the area.
A video recording of the incident went viral igniting national outrage over the manner in which he spoke to the workers.
He was then investigated by the government and pardoned but was subsequently sacked after he  asked for royalties for popularizing ‘tweaa.’
There have been calls for the former DCE to be reinstated by some residents in his district who described his punishment as harsh.

Citi News’ Umaru Amadu Sanda who spoke to Mr. Boamah, said he is yet to receive a letter confirming his reinstatement but he was convinced he is getting his job.
He told Amadu Sanda that he was informed about the decision by the Brong Ahafo regional minister.
