Lionsgate Sues Torrent Sites Over Leak Of ‘The Expendables 3′

Available information indicates that Lionsgate is taking legal action against torrent sites over the leak of their movie “The Expendables 3” which was scheduled for August 15 this year. Among names mentioned Lionsgate are operators of file-sharing websites like Limetorrents.com, Billionuploads.com, Hulkfile.eu, Played.to, Swantshare.com, and Dotsemper.com as defendants in their lawsuit.

According to the movie giant, several letters sent to each site demanding the removal of the movie proved futile hence their legal action.

22-year-old Nicole ‘Nikki’ Kelly, from Queens, New York, has been charged with the second degree murder after she allegedly suffocated her 11-month-old son, Kiam Felix, Jr.

‘I reached my breaking point, I didn’t want him anymore,’ she apparently told police.

Afterwards, she reportedly posted a photograph of her son’s corpse on her Facebook page, with the message ‘R.I.P Tinkabutt’.

Kiam was pronounced dead at Elmhurst Hospital on Sunday after being taken there by Kelly and the father, who lives separately.

Police said that Kelly, a former Home Health Aide, killed Kiam by wrapping him in a bed sheet, leaving him unable to breathe, according to Pix11.com.

Suspected Boko Haram sect have invaded two villages in Borno, killing at least five people and carting away food items as well as livestocks.

Residents said some armed men believed to be Boko Haram stormed Tohya and Wurojene villages near Chibok, where over 200 schoolgirls were abducted almost two months ago. The attackers opened fire on the villagers as soon as they arrived at about 7pm on Monday, killing at least five people, a resident of Chibok who did not want his name mentioned in print told our Correspondent on phone..

“The attackers fired at the people and many residents fled into the bush. There was confusion everywhere as the attackers set fire on houses. They continue the attack for about two hours. They carted away foodstuffs, bags of grains and chicken belonging to our poor people,” he said.

13-year old Malavath Poorna has become the youngest female to climb Mt. Everest.
Nepal requires climbers to be at least 16 years old to scale its peaks, but Poorna said she and a team of Nepalese guides climbed the 29,035-foot mountain on May 25 from the northern side in Tibet. There are no age restrictions in China.

“It was very difficult. Every step is a dangerous step,” a smiling Poorna told reporters in New Delhi, describing steep slopes, exposed rocks, deep crevasses and extreme cold that went below minus 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

At 10,830 feet, she said she saw “six dead bodies. I was shocked. Oh my god I got some fear.”
But she remembered her training and regained her confidence.

It’s official. Dr Dre is set to become the first billionaire in Hip Hop. Apple Electronics announced yesterday that it has acquired Dr Dre’s Beats Electronics for $3billion. According to Forbes, Apple paid $2.6billion cash upfront and gave $400million in stock that will vest over time.

The $3billion purchase price includes Beats Music, the sister company that runs a subscription streaming music service. As part of the deal, Beats co-founders Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine will join Apple in undisclosed roles.
