On 2nd February 2013, FashionGhana.com in conjunction with Prime Care Network (www.pcnprojects.org),
and the reigning queen of Miss West Africa Ghana 2012, Joycelyn Aduakye
are launching the first 'Fashion Give-away'. For the first time ever,
we will be hosting and inviting the general public to donate clothing,
old or new, to Teshie Orphanage.
The aim of the 'Big Fashion Give-away' is to ensure that every year, a charitable organisation is relieved of
their hard work in providing clothing essentials. Everyone is encouraged to participate in one way or the other by making as much donations in both or either clothing and money. The 'Big Fashion Give-Away' will be a regular occurrence with this being the first of its kind. Press and media would be invited to capture our activities.
"Everyone can be stylish, Everyone should have the option to access decent clothes and not be embarrassed when they walk out in town, especially the children" - Joycelyn Aduakye, the fashionable beauty queen who scooped the Miss West Africa Ghana 2012 title, has worked as a fashion model with renowned photographers such as Bobbie Emmanuel, AOB photography and more, as well as being one of the few models selected for Ghana Fashion and Design Week.
If you intend to give away clothing or financial donations, please turn up to Teshie Orphanage, Accra behind Teshie police station on the 2nd of February. The administration of tourism company, E-Style Productions has already vowed to donate 4 bags worth of clothing after seeing the notice on the FashionGHANA twitter page @FashionGHANA.
