mr. music man congratulates mahama

President John Mahama and Kojo Antwi
Music legend, Kojo Antwi, on Thursday congratulated President John Dramani Mahama on his December 7 election victory.

Speaking during a courtesy call on the President at the Castle, Mr. Music Man said he and other players in the creative arts industry are looking forward to greater collaboration with the Mahama’s administration to develop the sector and contribute to national development.

He was accompanied to The Castle by Malian singer, Salif Keita, with whom he will be performing on Monday December 24. The concerts have been a marked event on the Ghanaian Christmas calendar and draws large crowd every year.

President Mahama, who has been a patron of the concerts in previous years, said the expected performance of the duo would make the night a wonderful one.

He noted that he is a lover of the music performed by Kojo Antwi and Salif Keita.

Kojo Antwi praised Mr. Mahama for his humility, noting that he did not believe that they could get an audience with a President with such short notice.
