There are strong speculations that former Square Records artiste, May D is set to join Audu Maikori-led Chocolate City otherwise known as Choc City. This hint was dropped by one of the label’s artistes, Jude Abaga better known as MI.

The rapper posted on his twitter page this morning, “It almost sounds like May D is saying… ‘As a choc boy! I go de…..”

Some weeks ago, May D was sacked from his former label. No big reason was given for the slip apart from ‘irreconcilable differences’. May D featured in P-Square’s ‘Chop My Money’ single which featured American music star, Akon in its remix.

Two of Miss Ghana 2012 finalists quit pageant

Two finalists of this year’s Miss Ghana beauty pageant have left the competition on personal grounds.

The two, Emelia Ainooson a 20-year-old student of the Ghana Institute of Journalism and Dzifa Delloh of the University of Ghana, Legon will therefore not be part of the grand finale of the pageant on November 10.

Emelia Ainooson represented the Ashanti Region while Dzifa Dellor represented the Volta Region.

Sources who spoke to Hitz Entertainment News said the two, who were part of the final 20 contestants, might have opted out of the competition due to the extension of the pageant and activities lined up for the pageant which they said will affect their studies and examinations.

Norwegian police have published the photos and names of two people suspected of involvement in the theft of crown jewels owned by a Ghanian leader at an Oslo hotel, and say at least two stolen items have been retrieved.

The crown jewels belonged to Ashanti King Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and were stolen last week when he was attending a conference in the Norwegian capital.

The two suspects, a man and woman, were believed to be from Central America or South America, Gunnar Thorsen of the organised crime unit of the Oslo police said.

A Swedish website, Aftonbladet is reporting that the police in that country have arrested man in connection of the stealing of Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II’s crown jewels in Norway.

The report said “a suspected thief [has been] arreste

d at the airport.”

“He was taken when he was traveling from Sweden,” the story quoted Knut Joste in Sætnan of the Oslo police as saying.

Lucky Dube was born in Ermelo, formerly of the Eastern Transvaal, now of Mpumalanga, on 3 August 1964. His parents separated before his birth and he was raised by his mother, Sarah, who named him Lucky because she considered his birth fortunate after a number of failed pregnancies. Along with his two siblings, Thandi and Patrick, Dube spent much of his childhood with his grandmother, while his mother relocated to work. It was from there that he was introduced to the Mormon religion.
