Ever since the nominee list of Ghana DJs awards was released, so many people have expressed their opinions about it. As to whether is good or not, that depends on the said individual, but to some Kumasi based DJs, they think the organizers of this awards have been unfair to them since most of the nominees are from Accra and few from Kumasi and other regions and most of them are not even DJs.


One of the nominees who is massively angry at the organizers is Big Shaq known in real life as Nana Yaw Agyemang a renowned Radio Presenter with over 15years experience in the industry of Sky fm[Sunyani] formerly of Radio Mercury, Kapital Radio, Kess Radio, Fox fm and Boss fm[Kumasi]. He was so furious that he used facebook as his medium to express his anger and this is what he wrote on GossipGhana group on facebook...
"AM REALLY ANGRY WITH THE UNPROFESSIONAL GHANA DJS AWARDS ORGANIZERS FOR USING MY NAME IN THEIR SO CALL KIDDY DJS AWARDS OR WHAT? NO WONDER MR KAXTRO DJ BLACK,BIG SHARK,DJ NII ARYEE ,LOVIN CEE, BILLY OCEAN, MAGIC SAM AND THE REST OF THE DJS IN GH ARE PISSED OFF WITH THE WHOLE ISH.I WANT MY NAME OUT B4 THURSDAY OR THEY WILL HEAR FROM MY LAWYERS AHH WE DON'T EVEN HAVE AN ASSOCIATION AND U WANT TO USE OUR HARD EARN NAME TO MAKE MONEY, U CAN DO IT 4 THE SMALL BOYS AND NOT BIG GUYS LIKE US.
