"Yes fi real, di new record label dat weh sign up Samini is called PHAMOUS MUSIC. Unlike first, when one would hear the signature tune “Samini Music”, it would be no more as Samini (Emmanuel Kofi Samini) is now signed to a new label – Phamous Music. Phamous Music is one of the sub-divisions under PHAMOUS MEDIA GROUP (PMG).
The song -“Woman We Say” – was produced by Jam Master Jay (JMJ Baby), one of Ghana’s seasoned sound engineers based in Dansoman.
It would be no surprise to the ears that this new song would be the next “controversial song” on the market.
With carefully ‘calculated punch lines’ the song rides on the topic of eroticism – a tag for which Samini is known for in reference to his previous makes. The song “Woman We Say” narrowly also proves as a teaser against 'homosexuals'. Not to mean a 'diss' to homosexuals but the song certainly is a "revivification for the masculine gender to appreciate the opposite sex instead of engaging in same sex culture as it is these days."
Some parts of the song goes like "Check, check, check my line up...Hot sexy gyals dem a whine up….I have a tower for them to come climb up…I’m the reason why the gyal dem a come out…Selecta boom sound as dem a step out…Party all out…Let the girls come to Paapa…Let the ladies come to Dada…Let the shoddies come to Natty…Strictly woman we say…”
Samini is one of the ‘heavyweights’ in Ghana music who has picked MOBO, IRAWMA, Ghana Music Awards, MTV and other several awards internationally.
