After 7 years, 6 children and a whole lot of Hollywood movies, US actors Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are finally engaged!
The news about the star couple’s engagement was confirmed by Brad’s rep Cynthia Pett-Dante in a statement released earlier today April 14, 2012..

There is however no wedding date yet as the engagement is simply a ‘promise for the future’.
Angelina was photographed on Wednesday wearing what appeared to be her engagement ring when the couple went for an outing.

The couple had earlier stated they would not tie the knot until gay people were legally allowed to get married too but later confessed their kids often pressured them to jump the broom.
This will be Angelina’s third marriage and Brad’s second. Angelina has previously married to actors Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton. Brad was previously married to Jennifer Aniston.

The couple who met on the set of Box Office hit movie ‘Mr. & Mrs. Smith’ back in 2005 have three biological children (the twins Vivienne and Knox, and daughter Shiloh) and three adopted children (Maddox, Pax, and Zahara).
