Fennec Murder Case: Police Offer GHc20,000 Cash Reward

The Police Administration “is offering a cash reward of Twenty Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHc20,000) to any person or persons who will volunteer credible information leading to the arrest of suspects involved in the murder of Fennec Okyere”.

The offer came in an official statement released in Accra on Friday. It comes over a month after assailants stabbed Fennec to death in his private off the Spintex Road, Accra

The Police statement, signed by the Commissioner – Criminal Investigative Department (CID) at the National Police Headquarters, P.K Agblor, also called on persons with information on the killers to “contact the Police on 0302773695, 0302773906, 0302761733 or report to the Public Affairs Directorate at the National Police Headquarters.”

Woman Allegedly Turned into a Bird & Landed in a Gutter in Lagos

Earlier today, around 9am, this woman pictured above, who allegedly confessed to being a witch, was rescued from a gutter she was trapped in around Abalti Barracks, Ojuelegba in Surulere, Lagos.
According to reports, a passerby had noticed someone stretching out her hand from a very small hole in a 6ft deep gutter just in front of the Army Barracks and calling out for help. The passerby quickly ran into the Army barracks to get help.

2 Suspected robbers arrested in Tema

The Tema Police have arrested two suspects for allegedly carrying out two separate robberies at ECOBANK and the Ghana Commercial Bank, both at Tema Community One.

The robberies are said to have been carried out about 3 p.m. yesterday, April 1, 2014.
The suspects have been identified as Mohammed Ahmed, 31, a motor mechanic who lives at Dome in Accra, and Emmanuel Ahiagbedzi, 23, a resident of Accra New Town.
During a search on them, the police found a pistol, a Nokia mobile phone, GH¢2,605, as well as a talisman in a lady’s bag they were carrying.
