There appears to be no end in sight to the woes of embattled Ghanaian actor John Dumelo.

He’s been caught in another complexity, which has the potential of derailing the gains made over the years as an actor, philanthropist and entrepreneur. It’s not looking good.

Fresh from battling his way out of a supposed on-off ‘fake’ marriage with Harrina Dembele, a US-based model, actress and nurse, details – and they are very fresh – are emerging from the camp of investigative Ghanaian journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas that paints a not-so-good look.

On Thursday evening, the award-winning journalist took to his Facebook page to post what was a ‘warning’ – of a sort – to get the actor to solve issues surrounding a current complexity he’s involved in with a Mozambican lady.

chinua achebe to be buried today

Renowned Nigerian author Chinua Achebe, who died in March, is due to be buried in his home town in Anambra state.

Mr Achebe's body arrived in Nigeria yesterday from the US.

The author died in Boston at the age of 82 following a brief illness. Relatives and officials were at Enugu airport in southern Nigeria as the coffin was lowered from the plane.

Mr Achebe is widely regarded as the founding father of African literature in English. His 1958 debut novel,

The actor was said to have moved from one church to the other with the ministry working hard and praying to get further official pastoral ordination. He had preaching engagement in various churches such as Shepherd House Assembly in Makurdi, Lafia, Abuja and the Diaspora.

The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia, is testifying in the petition challenging the declaration of President John Dramani Mahama as the winner of the 2012 presidential election at the Supreme Court.

“General Mosquito” mounted the witness box and chose to swear an oath using the Bible. He announced that he has power of attorney signed by H.E John Mahama which makes him witness for the first respondent, President Mahama.

Auditing and accounting firm, KPMG International has assured that they will wait for the decision of the Judges at the Supreme Court as well as the lawyers of both sides; respondents and petitioners in the on-going election petition and then afterwards continue with the work they were called to do.

According to them, the decision of the court to hold on with auditing of the pink sheets is not going to change their commitment or deter them from what they have set out to do.

KPMG International on Monday suspended its auditing of pink sheets because lawyers of the third petitioners raised suspicion that some of the boxes containing the pink sheets have been tempered with.

Akwasi Asare, aka 'Festival', was picked up by the police at his hideout at Kokoso, near Prempeh College, and is expected to face trial at a Kumasi High Court, presided over Justice Amoh Yartey, on Friday May 24.

The suspect, together with his four other accomplices, who are currently at large, reportedly make $10,000 every 30 minutes by uploading videos of their sexual escapades, via the internet, to their partners based in the United States of America.

Dancehall artiste, Bandana has descended heavily on Charter House, organizers of the annual Ghana Music Awards accusing the outfit of illegally awarding the Reggae Dance Hall Song of the Year award to Kaakie.

Just some few minutes after Kaakie was announced winner of that category which also had Bandana, Blakk Rasta, Eazzy, Knii Lante and Samini as contenders, the artiste popularly known for the hit song Bandana From Ghana took to social media platform, Twitter to vent his anger at the organizers.

This year’s awards came off at the Accra International Conference Centre Saturday night and while many have praised organizers for a good show, Bandana thinks otherwise.

He tweeted that: “F**k Ghana music industry, F**k charter house and I mean this from my heart .i don't need them in any way ..big up to all Shatta wale fans.”

The much talked about 2013 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards has come and it is no longer news that the Tema fraternity have once again swept the prestigious Artiste of the Year accolade.

R2bees were crowned with the biggest award on the night amidst five additional ones that they scooped home. As a surprise package, the group received a brand new MG Rover vehicle and Samsung Galaxy S4 phones from Vodafone as part of the awards.

M.anifest, Herty Borngreat and Kaakie were also among the big winners on the night.

Tema-based sensational music duo R2Bees has been nominated for this years BET Awards taking place at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on June 30.

R2Bees is nominated in the ‘Best International Act: Africa’ category along with four other African artistes - 2face,(Nigeria), Ice Prince(Nigeria),  Toya Delazy (South Africa), Donald (South Africa) and Radio and Weasel (Uganda).

2face and Ice Prince aren’t new to the awards show; in 2011, 2face Idibia won along side D’banj and in 2012, Ice Prince was nominated alongside Wizkid (Wizkid won the award with Sarkodie).

12 arrested for shooting an adult movie with a dog

Eleven women and one foreign man have been arrested after they were caught shooting an adult movie with a dog in Nyali Mombasa.

The 12 are said to have been engaging in sex with a dog while the camera was on.
According to Mombassa boss, the area has been infested with foreigners who come with different motives. Others are said to have come for tour while others come to engage in prostitution.

The 12 were caught performing one of the most embarrassing sexual crime ever. The man was capturing the Kenyan ladies on tape as they had sex with his Dog, a German Shepard.

NEWS-ONE has gathered that the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG) is attempting to cover up ongoing investigations into a sex scandal in which seven young men aged between 20 and about 28 have individually accused one of the church’s pastors at the Abokobi branch of engaging in homosexual activities with them.

Each of the young men said Reverend Kingsford Kusi-Kyere of the Abokobi Presby had approached them at separate times and stimulated their penis with his palms and a lubricant until they released sperms.

Surprisingly, some of the pastor’s neighbours at Abokobi said they were not surprised about the accusations from the young men and revealed there were several other former male workers of his who had a similar story to tell.

Counsel for the governing National Democratic Congress in the ongoing Presidential Election Petition has filed a motion seeking to cross-examine witnesses whose testimonies have come by affidavits.

The Supreme Court as part of its directive ordered the parties involved in the election petition case to come by affidavits testimony in order to facilitate a speedy trial.

By affidavits testimony, witnesses will, in writing address all questions that they would ordinarily have answered had they been dragged to the witness box.

The founder and leader of Glorious Word Ministry International, Rev. Isaac Owusu- Bempah, has declared that he will never attend a service organized by Nigerian Prophet Temitope Balogun (T.B.) Joshua, head of the Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) because he is not a better man of God than he is.

Rev Owusu Bempah says he is selective in the programmes he chooses to attend, but insists “before God and man I will never go to TB Joshua’s programme.”

“There are pastors whose programmes I will attend, but not TB Joshua.

I say there are equally good men of God in Ghana like Eastwood Anaba, Ampiah Kwofi, Apostle Annor and others.

Even in Nigeria there are people who don’t regard him as a man of God, but I am not condemning him.

asem’s ‘wasted’ is a wasted song - bull dog

Bull Dog, Chief Executive of Bull Haus Entertainment has taken a swipe at the controversial hip life artiste Asem calling his ‘Wasted’ track a “Wasted Song.”

In an interview with NEWS ONE, Bull Dog noted that he believes the track is a good song which Asem failed to promote well.

“The song is a good song. It was a fun track and can also be considered as a track that releases stress, but Asem did not push it to where it was supposed to go.

He did not follow it up so he wasted the song, “BullDog told the paper.

Ahead of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2013 on Saturday May 18 at the Conference Centre, singer Efya has picked the ‘Record of the Year’ award with her song ‘Best In Me’ at the Industry Awards.

She picked the award in a ceremony at the Alisa Hotel in Accra. The Industry Awards is held before the main event. The idea is to prevent the dragging of the awards on the main day.

Other winners include; Akoo Nana who picked the World Bank Music for Development, Kaywa won for himself the Sound Engineer of the Year, pride of the North-Sherifa was adjudged as the Traditional Artiste of the Year whiles Gyedu Blay Ambulley went home with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Hiplife musician Akoo Nana has released a video of his upcoming song Kachina showing naked breast of fresh ladies.

The video which he says will out soon has eight ladies displaying different sizes of fresh boobs.

American Hip hop act DeAndre Cortez Way better known by his stage name Soulja Boy Tell 'Em, or simply Soulja Boy, has included Ghana in his African Tour this year and is set to headline a major musical concert in Accra.

The African Tour which is powered by Swag Family Legacy Entertainment in collaboration with EDGE53, is set to host Soulja Boy in three African countries. The Ghana edition of the tour is set to take place at the Accra International Conference Centre this year.

Soulja Boy will share the stage with some of Africa’s best acts from Nigeria and Ghana. Already, word about Soulja Boys’ concert in Ghana is making rounds in gossip circles.
