Following her outstanding performance in the Ghanaian gospel music industry, Herty Borngreat, a renowned gospel music star, last Sunday won the Contemporary Gospel Artiste of the Year award at the maiden edition of Zoom Alliance Gospel Music Awards held at the Accra International Conference Centre.

Sensational gospel artiste Herty Borngreat, who is not new in the Ghanaian gospel music scene, featured Sakordie on her hit single, ‘Bebree’, which received massive air play on radio and some selected TV stations.

Herty won the Discovery Artiste of the Year at the 2011 Ghana Music Awards (GMAs).


The award, which was organized by JAKA Investment Limited, seeks to promote the Gospel industry in Ghana. Guests danced throughout the programme as a result of splendid performances by a number of gospel music stars, who thrilled them with their various hit songs.
