Castro Hospitalized In Togo?

The Ghana Police service is on a wild goose chase for hiplife musician Theophilus Tagoe popularly known as Castro said to be alive and on admission at a hospital in Togo.

The police had information that the hiplife star who was reported missing in the waters of Ada on July 6, 2014 had been found alive and hospitalised in Togo.

A confidential Police Wireless Message, a copy of which was intercepted by Myjoyonline.com directed the Aflao Police Commander to follow up on the information and to find out the veracity of the information.

It turned out that the information was false.

The police confirmed to Myjoyonline.com that personnel of the service were despatched to Togo but could not locate the hospital.

"There was no such hospital in Togo," the Police source told Myjoyonline.com.

What it means is that the hiplife star and the lady, Janet Bandu, who went jet skiing in the waters in Ada, remain missing and yet to be found dead or alive.

Rescue operations started Sunday, July 6, 2014 for the two.

Castro and Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan were at the Peace Holiday Resort in Ada, together with some friends, for recreation when the unfortunate incident occurred.

The Marine Division of the Ghana Police Service intensified search operations Monday but as at last Friday, hopes of finding Castro and Janet alive, seemed to have been lost.
